What to Bring
- A minimum of a week’s supply of medications to insure sufficient supply until client can meet with our nurse practitioner. Please bring all of your prescriptions on hand to avoid paying out of pocket before insurance will refill.
- Medical and prescription insurance card if you have one.
- Outdoor, rugged, casual clothing, and appropriate light clothing for the river and the Sweat Lodge. Long Johns for winter along with cap and gloves.
- We have optional Native American Sweat Lodge Ceremonies at The Ranch. For these you will need long loose shorts and T-shirts.
- Shorts should be long and loose. Nothing revealing or provocative. No “strappy” or midriff-exposing shirts
- A pair of leather-soled shoes or boots with a heel are preferred for riding. Tennis shoes can suffice.
- All personal toiletries (for example – deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc.). No aerosol cans, please. No liquids containing alcohol (i.e., hairspray, mouthwash, etc.).
- Personal spending money. No more than $80 per week is needed ($320 per 28 day period).
- Smoking is allowed outside. Bring your cigarettes, or budget for purchase if needed.
- Personal books and a journal if desired.
- Your favorite blanket and/or pillow may make you more comfortable. Linens are provided. Can bring appropriate photos/stuffed animals.
- No Cell Phones, No Cameras, No laptop computers, No video game devices. No DVD’s, No Magazines. No Ipods or music players. No Ipads/Kindles. No refillable lighters-disposable only.
