The Ranch Rehabilitation Center in Tennessee Earns CARF Accreditation
In recognition of its highly individualized, client-centered care and innovative treatments for addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders, The Ranch has earned accreditation from CARF.
Nunnelly, TN (PRWEB) May 1, 2012 – In honor of its dedication to improving the lives of people struggling with addictions and mental health disorders, The Ranch has earned three-year accreditation from CARF, an independent accrediting body with rigorous quality and service standards. The CARF accreditation covers The Ranch’s detoxification, intensive outpatient treatment and partial hospitalization programs.
“The Ranch has extended its commitment to clinical excellence and individualized client care through the CARF accreditation process,” said Dr. David Sack, the President/CEO of The Ranch’s parent company, Elements Behavioral Health. “We are pleased that our efforts to provide an exceptional treatment experience are being recognized by a three-year accreditation.”
CARF accreditation is a year-long process during which the facility and its staff review all policies, procedures and processes in an effort to demonstrate excellence across all clinical and administrative services.
“Accreditation has been a real team effort,” said Greg Phillips, Executive Director at The Ranch. “From the residential assistants to the department heads, everyone played an important role in showcasing the superior level of care clients receive at The Ranch. We are honored to have been awarded accreditation for the maximum time allowed by CARF, and particularly pleased with the surveyors’ overwhelmingly positive impressions of the facility and staff.”
The CARF survey commented on a number of The Ranch’s strengths, including the highly individualized nature of treatment, the deep commitment of staff to making each client’s stay a positive learning experience, and an “atmosphere of comfort and caring throughout the organization.” The survey also highlighted The Ranch’s wide array of innovative treatment modalities and the high level of satisfaction reported by both clients and stakeholders, who praised the organization’s quality and coordination of care, the expertise and flexibility of staff, and the degree of follow-up with referral sources.
“CARF accreditation raises the performance and accountability standard for The Ranch,” said Mark Albritton, the facility’s Quality Manager. “It ensures that in all we do, we will continue to meet the highest quality measures and provide the highest standard of client care. This honor is further evidence that CARF’s emphasis on person-centered treatment aligns closely with our values at The Ranch.”
