Our attachments are powerful forces that can rule and ruin our lives. The recovery literature says we need to grow along spiritual lines. On this day we will explore how to use the power of mindfulness and wisdom to access and come into harmony with the power of recovery.

Mindfulness helps us to wake up from the dream of past and future and arrive at the reality of now. This core Buddhist practice leads to insight into impermanence, suffering, and the illusory nature of self. An awakened awareness shows us the importance of living with integrity and compassion. Through guided meditations, interactive exercises, dialog, and ritual, we will work toward a personal experience of the power of mindfulness.
