Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree from South University in Savannah, Georgia and is specially trained in EMDR and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). She specializes in substance abuse, trauma and self-harming behaviors and has worked with teens, adults and active duty service members. Amanda uses compassion-focused therapy and gestalt therapy techniques to help people find their authentic self, relate themselves to the world, appropriately let go of the qualities holding them back, and move forward with acceptance.
