Jeff Rooney holds a Masters Degree in Science and Social Work from the University of Tennessee. He has worked in the field of co-occurring disorders since 2003. Jeff has served clients in outpatient and residential settings working with adults, adolescents, and families. He also worked in HIV service settings, providing therapy and treatment to persons living with or affected by HIV. Jeff achieved specialized training and experience in Psychodynamic Object Relations Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Bowen Family Systems Therapy, Clinical Mindfulness, Contemplative Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and Twelve Step Facilitation. Jeff’s approach to therapy is technically eclectic, pulling from many modalities, for the purpose of resolving the internal and systemic barriers to ongoing recovery and living from a place of authenticity and spiritual connection.
