Linda is a licensed professional counselor with who holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary/special education from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, and a master’s degree in counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. Linda has been in practice since 2003. She came to The Ranch after working for Vanderbilt Mental Health Center for nearly nine years, where she treated incarcerated adolescents for substance abuse, trauma, and other issues.Linda’s therapy passion is dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), in which she is intensively trained. At The Ranch, Linda leads DBT skills training groups, offers individual DBT sessions, and heads The Ranch DBT consultation team. She also holds the LPC Approved Supervisor designation, and conducts supervision with Ranch therapists seeking licensure. Linda originally hails from Kansas, although she has never met Dorothy nor seen a tornado.
