Born and raised in Tennessee, Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English Education. After beginning a career as a high school English teacher, Rebecca wanted to be able to provide more for her students and went back to school to receive a Master’s of Science degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama. After several years of being a public school teacher, Rebecca began her own journey of recovery and realized that she wanted to expand her knowledge to be able to help all people. She then pursued a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology also from The University of West Alabama. Rebecca uses an eclectic variety of styles focusing on all aspects of 12 step recovery. Rebecca loves working with people in recovery offering them a little bit of hope to know that recovery is possible for all people. Prior to The Ranch, Rebecca worked as the lead counselor in a nonprofit organization proving treatment from alcohol and drugs. Rebecca is excited to be at The Ranch so that she is able to expand her knowledge and experience into all areas of recovery.
