Sammi Lobenstein King, M.Ed.
Sammi earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She moved to Nashville to obtain her master’s degree in professional counseling from Middle Tennessee State University. She has worked in two residential treatment programs and an intensive outpatient program in middle Tennessee and joined The Ranch in 2017.Sammi takes an eclectic approach to therapy, individualizing the work to each client’s specific needs. She facilitates specialty groups around body image and likes to incorporate art, as well as experiential and guided imagery work, to help clients connect to their inner child and challenge their internal critic. Sammi has a passion for helping those who are hurting identify and understand their initial wounds in order to find inner strength and hope, and to move forward and heal.
