Sarah has worked in counseling/psychology since 2004, with experience in residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient treatment. She has treated addiction and mental health issues among children, adolescents and adults, and has worked with the criminal justice system (through treatment courts, working with juvenile and adult probation, and the prison system). Sarah is a certified clinical trauma professional, has training and experience in dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, and has taught psychology/counseling at the undergraduate and graduate level for seven years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Maryland, College Park, a master’s degree in counseling psychology from McDaniel College, and a master’s degree in forensic studies from Stevenson University.
