    Previous Question

    headshot

    Ashley

    Family Nurse Practitioner

The most important part of treatment working for someone is their willingness to participate in the program we offer. We work hard to meet each client where they are in order to help them the best way we can. We address the whole person: clinically, medically, psychiatrically and spiritually. To see someone be successful in treatment through their first steps of recovery is why we do what we do. It is rewarding to be a part of that journey.

My style is “I’m going to love you until you love yourself. I’ve sat where you sit. So I’m going to let you take your time and we’re going to get there.” I give tough love, motherly type love and strenuous exercises on a daily basis. I meet the client where they are.

I love working here. I have a lot of love for addicts and alcoholics because I was that broken person. And people loved me even though I thought I was dirty. I felt dirty. Counselors loved me until I could love myself and I said, “I’m going to do that one day.”
