Alumni Coordinator Joins The Ranch Treatment Center in Tennessee

Jessica Hirsch joins The Ranch as its Alumni Coordinator. Nunnelly, TN (PRWEB) July 2, 2013 – The Ranch treatment center in Tennessee welcomes Jessica Hirsch as its Alumni Coordinator. In this role, Hirsch will coordinate all alumni events, including monthly meetings, weekend retreats and annual celebrations, and oversee alumni relations. Hirsch holds a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Emerson College and a master’s degree in English Education from Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining The Ranch, she was a teacher at the YWCA and the Director of Admissions at a nonprofit private high school in Atlanta. She has 10 years of experience coordinating events, improving communications and creating ambassador programs. “Our alumni deserve to have someone be their cheerleader, someone who is inspired and excited about what they’re doing and who can help them build a support network,” said Hirsch. “The alumni group is a place they can turn if they need help or guidance, as well as a place to celebrate their new lives in recovery.” Alumni services are an integral part of aftercare for individuals in recovery from addictions and mental health disorders. When clients leave The Ranch, they have a network of peers they can draw on for support and feedback and a direct link to the therapists they worked closely with throughout their journey of recovery. Hirsch was drawn to The Ranch by the program’s holistic approach and distinguished staff. The Ranch offers a full spectrum of therapies to heal mind, body and spirit, including equine therapy, adventure therapy, nutritional counseling, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), among others. The Ranch’s treatment team is made up of a triple board certified medical doctor, master’s level therapists and other professionals who have the skills and training to address all of the issues that prevent clients from fulfilling their goals, including substance abuse, sex and love addictions, emotional trauma, eating disorders and other mental health disorders. “I am an advocate of helping people help themselves, which is what treatment at The Ranch is all about,” said Hirsch. “The whole-person approach, which takes into account each person’s mental, physical and spiritual health, makes The Ranch a truly special place.”
