At The Ranch, you’ll live in a house with a small group of peers. This setting helps you develop close, supportive relationships and practice recovery skills. You’ll prepare and eat your meals together, beginning with “mindful breakfast” around 7 am. You’re encouraged to use meals as a mindfulness activity, engaging all of your senses: taste, smell and touch. Fitness can be engaged in daily with walking, jogging, basketball and other activities. Gym time, with access to weights and cardio equipment, is scheduled twice per week. From 9:30 to 11 am, you’ll attend primary addiction therapy group sessions that focus on processing emotions, developing boundaries and once a week attending adventure therapies.
